  1. Choose a place with sufficient sunlight and proper drainage. For choosing the suitable area, check your farming area at many intervals of the day and choose a plot which get ample sunlight for at least 6 hours per day.   2. Check soil’s pH and amend it if necessary. Buy pH paper from some stationary or medical shop. Then take a sample of soil in a clear cup, add some distilled water and stir it nicely. After that insert the pH strip inside it and let it be there for 20-30 seconds. Check the pH list and see the pH of that soil. If it’s between 5.5- 7.0 then the soil is perfect for growing the organic products. If the pH is not perfect then to higher the pH add dolomite or quicklime to boost the pH and to lower the pH of the soil, add additional organic matter and at last check the pH again.
  3. Directly plant if soil has good drainage and pH. If the farm you are working on has a good drainage then you can directly start working on it. Firstly, by removing all the weeds and grass from that patch of the land with the help of a shovel. You have to dig till only the dirt is left. When you will only see the dirt, you can start planting. If you want complete organic vegetables, so you can use organic soil instead of the normal soil.
  4. To improve plot’s drainage, raise the garden bed. If your land is a bit soggy, raise your garden a bit and then dig up the ground in desired shape and then place pieces of wood along the edge of your desired plot to create a box. Then, from that box take out the present soil and add organic soil instead.
  5. Grow organic vegetables in suitable container for convenience. Take 10 to 12 inches long pot for sufficient space for growing with a hole at bottom for drainage so that the water can flow from the roots. Preferably use organic pot soil.
  6. Mix organic matter to the soil to fertilize. To add more nutrients, replace half of the soil with organic matter. Then mix both the things evenly with the help of a hoe. And if you are doing the farming on ground with a perfect pH, you can directly mix the fertiliser into the soil. Some fertiliser options are moss, manure or compost.
  7. Choosing the correct type of plants that grows well in hardiness zone. Choosing the correct plant is a very important considering climate conditions. Check that you are in which USDA zone you are in, and then read the labels about what type of plants will grow in your zone. So make sure put the appropriate plants according to your zone.
  8. Get organic seeds from a gardening store or online. To grow organic vegetables make sure that you get organic seeds from the market. Organic seeds are from the plants that are grown in organic and natural conditions with organic pesticides, herbicides and non-organic fertilisers. It’s not an easy task to find organic seeds so be careful while buying.
  9. Till the soil to make it loose. If you already removed all the weeds and grasses, then make sure that there is no other obstruction like rocks or sticks. So make several passes in the ground to have proper drainage so that seeds can take it’s place properly in soil.
  10.  Plant your seedlings. Sprinkle the seeds all over the soil in your planting space. If by any chance you are using seedlings, then take a shovel and dig small space and plant the seedlings at proper space difference.
  11.  Label plants for your convenience. Print the names of your plants and paste it on some garden stick or something like that and place them near that plant.
  12. Cover the soil from 1-2 in of organic mulch. For limitation weed growth, mulch is a very great way as it also prevents moisture and keeps your soil warm. You can cover your soil on top completely with mulch; your seeds can still sprout through that mulch.
  13.  Water your seeds and seedlings immediately after planting. The plants and the ground should be kept moist. But don’t add so much water that the seeds pool on top of the soil.
